Blogging Since Compassionate Communication

Before Christ. That's how most people view B.C. when they see 40 B.C. I remember the first time I heard B.C.E when I saw Abba Eben on PBS. Being Christian and not as academic as I thought, I was not familiar with "Before The Christian Era" nor Abba Eben, the late former Israeli Foreign Minister.

I have experienced watershed events in my life before such as the death of both parents and a young niece, to name a few. I even remember being three or four and a neighborhood kid explaining to me that we die. That was an amazing realization. I have had some really positive watershed events like a personal saving relationship with Christ, getting married, the birth of my son and going through the personal growth [or personal development, if you prefer] work of Fran Cannon of Cannon Business Institute and his former partner, Michael Griffin.

As a Toastmaster, I am familiar with spoken communication.

Yet I was unfamiliar with Compassionate or Nonviolent Communication. My personal preference is for the term Compassionate Communication. Compassionate Communication is a watershed in communication and personal development for me. From now on I'll be blogging A.C.C. - After Compassionate Communication. I highly recommend Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life: Create Your Life, Your Relationships, and Your World in Harmony with Your Values.

There is a Myspace now, too. You can visit My Myspace by clicking on the title of the post or by visiting:
